NICE THINGS PEOPLE HAVE SAID ABOUT US

THE URBAN LIST

Brisbane coffee lovers, take note! Coffee roaster Bear Bones Espresso in The Valley is an open warehouse space, where you can enjoy their great coffee and a snack while gazing at the art of local creatives adorning the walls. Not only a cafe, Bear Bones roasts amazing coffee in house for you to buy.

MY CITY LIFE

A micro-roastery and hole in the wall café, this Valley caffeine monument embraces the urban artisan approach to the bean. Everything about this roastery is specialist, exclusive and local

THE WEEKEND EDITION

Wedged between retail stores and office blocks on McLachlan Street, the slender space is yet another addition to the burgeoning Fortitude Valley coffee scene. Bear Bones is the brainchild of Brisbane restaurateur and graffiti artist Asa Boardman ‚Äì the man who indulged locals with beloved venues like The Kettle and Tin in Paddington and The Ponycat in New Farm …¬†Asa‚Äôs latest creation follows his trademark style, with vibrant wall art crafted by the man himself and an easygoing vibe that invites guests to linger longer. To fill the belly, customers can peruse the snacks in the cabinet or order breakfast and lunch from the short but sweet menu.

CONCRETE PLAYGROUND

Despite the warehouse proportions, Bear Bones exudes the cosy-yet-cool vibe…high tables are arranged for brunch catch ups and the light bulbs that hang within glass beakers kind of make you feel as if you‚Äôre having coffee in the New York apartment of a mad scientist (which we can totally deal with).

MUST DO BRISBANE

The friendly go-to for some of the best coffee in the Valley, with a small serve of delicious snacks on the side.

GOURMAND & GOURMET

Bear Bones Espresso is famous for two things: the graffiti art by Asa Boardman that pops off the walls, and the exceptional coffee and food prepared for the caffeine addict and food lover at heart.
