Trent is the visionary behind Bear Bones — and the reason we are who we are today. With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including two decades in business banking, he’s spent a lifetime understanding what drives small business success.

Bear Bones was born out of both his passion and frustration. Passion for coffee, people, and community. Frustration with the lack of service, support, and genuine partnership from traditional coffee suppliers. Trent saw a gap — he wanted to build a specialty roaster that prioritised quality over quantity and truly backed their customers.

So, he set out to do things differently. To create a business that would never just be a supplier, but a partner. One that shows up for the wins, the challenges, and every moment in between.
